Whoever heard of a 20 year old singer-songwriter winning FIRST PRIZE on his first try in the county wide folk-rock competition? Well, Adam Currie did! Perhaps a very unique blend of voice, original self-written songs, exceptional guitar work and a true love of music made this first prize happen.
It is no accident that the origin of Adam's unique music is Beatles (John Lennon)/Dave Mathews. It turns out that his father was quite a Beatles fan and this consequently was "background" music for Adam since he was 4 years old.
Adam's great attraction to such music, drove him to teach himself guitar at age 16! Very frequent, innovative practice evolved to yield the totally and truly unique Adam Currie "voice-guitar" sound. So talented and unique was Adam's music that a MAJOR LEAGUE back-up artist, Seth Glassman (www.sethglassman.com) took notice and consequently teamed with Adam to engineer his first self-titled CD. Having heard and seen the results of Adam's first CD, Mr. Glassman has since elected to produce the up and coming second CD!
In recent times, Adam has made the Fairfield County club and festival circuit with a very positive response. This response has manifested into Adam getting radio airtime in the North Eastern and South Eastern U.S. as well as Mexico and Costa-Rica to date.

Born in 1984 in Fairfield, Connecticut, Adam taught himself the guitar at the age of sixteen.  Influenced by the songs of John Lennon, he started writing his own songs soon after.  With songs in tow, Adam entered a local studio to record a demo tape that eventually sparked the interest of a record producer who took the project into Carriage House Studios to record Adam's first CD for the independent Hey! Records label.  The album consists of ten of Adam's original works and the Beatles' "Dear Prudence" as an homage to Adam's favorite songwriter. 

While writing songs to record in the future, Adam has been touring the East Coast with his band to promote his debut album, and is building a loyal fan base.

At nineteen years old, Adam is looking forward to a prolific career as a singer-songwriter and traveling musician.
